v8.0 is VS 2005. v9.0 is VS 2008. Are you certain your csproj is a VS 2005 project?

Dear

As I told you previously I'm a beginner and I've installed starter kit DotNetNuke_Community_04.09.04_StarterKit.vsi on VS2005, so i'm not sure if it is a VS 2005 project or not?

what about changing the name of the folder to v9.0, will it cause another problem in the other project?

yours faithfully

I would not change the folder names. As this will affect all projects/solutions. It looks like the 4.9.4 starter kit is referencing the VS 2008 file. If you open C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\jo1s3zml.g5m\Temp\ModuleName2.csproj with notepad and goto line 108, <Import Project="$(MSBuildExtensionsPath)\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" Condition="" />. Change the v9.0 there to v8.0, save and try again. Do you have the same error?

Dear John

Thanks for your help, I can find the address up to the black marked part (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\io1s3zml.g5m\Temp\ModuleName2.csproj) but the part as I marked it with the red color wasnot found in my computer. as a mater of fact the black marked address is empty without any hidden folder inside. Please show me the way to find the specified address exactly.

Open C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\jo1s3zml.g5m\Temp\ModuleName2.csproj with notepad.
Goto line 108, <Import Project="$(MSBuildExtensionsPath)\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" Condition="" />.
Change line 108 to <Import Project="$(MSBuildExtensionsPath)\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v8.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" Condition="" />
Open the project in VS. Do yo uget the same error.
