I need to totally remove FCKEditor from dnn alltogether and use only a plain old asp:TextBox instead. The rich editor is getting all of my mobile device users mixed up and they can't use the website if the choice for the plain textbox or the fckeditor is there. How would you totally remove these choices and default to a plain textbox? Just setting it to basic by default isn't going to work since some people get curious and change to rich editor and the JSDOM query stuff breaks the website for them. Any ideas?

Not sure if it's the easiest way, but you could pretty easy write your own TextEditor provider that would only render a textbox. Or maybe even render a textbox for mobile users and FCK for others...

That's fine, but then I have to rework some modules that comes with DNN and I really don't have the time to recreate the wheel again. Isn't there a way to disable the rich editor and be done with it?

No need to rework anything, as it is a provider.

Btw, the dnnwikiplex html editor provider (http://dnnwikiplex.codeplex.com/) inherits from a textarea html editor provider.

How do you uninstall the fckeditor provider and use this other one? For an example, the text/html module naturally would use the fckeditor provider since both come with dnn. How would you change that without changing the textbox in the text/html module itself?
