I just upgraded to Forums 4.5.3 and I'm trying to disable the rating system for all the forums in my site.  Here are the steps I performed:

  1. Opened Forum Administration / Content / Rating / Rating Management
  2. Unchecked "Enable"
  3. Clicked "Update" at the bottom of the page

No matter how many times I do this, when I return to the Rating Management panel, "Enable" is still checked, and the Ratings drop-down box continues to appear in all forums.  Is this an error in the module, or am I not doing something correctly?

I just confirmed, this is a bug.

Are there plans to fix this?  Or suggestions of some SQL to run in order to insert or update the proper settings record?
I am shocked this ended as a "Yep its a bug" and nothing for a year.

Best Regards, Dave VanderWekke
