In the DotNetNuke default.aspx file there is the following text.

<html<%= HtmlAttributeList %>>

I would like to add an attribute to this tag from the code behind of a module.   How would I go about doing this?   I can not seem to find any methods that expose this functionality?

Because HtmlAttributeList is property of Default.aspx page, and there is no runat="server" attribute for <html> tag, it seems impossiable to be accessed by module.

You can try to register a JS on you module, and modify this tag on client.

Which tag do you want to add? May be you can add on other place.

It is an XMLNS that needs to be added to the page.

If you try to force DNN in XHTML mode, you can try add a .doctype.xml file in skin folder in DNN 4.x or setting DOCTYPE in DNN 5.X directly.

Not trying to change the Doctype.   Trying to add a an XMLNS (XML Namespace) to the HTML tag, programatically.
