I am also using Godaddy for my own and my clients' websites.

So far i didn't have strong problems. Although it is not the best  it has very reasonable price compared to others. However you won't be able to get support. Godaddy does not support third party software.

If you are looking for support you may want to visit my blogs. I offer tutorials for installing dnn to godaddy and hosting multiple websites under single godaddy account.

I've worked with 2 sites hosted at godaddy - and in the long run just wasn't worth it.  I'm usually cheap enough and have an "I can do it" attitude - but have come to really appreciate they folks at PowerDNN.  Yes, they cost more... but quite frankly they are very fast, and their support is great and responsive.  It's the old addage "You get what you pay for".  And I'm willing to pay a little more to work & stress a little less!

DNN is hosted at MaximumASP - but I've got no experience with them - and I'm sure this site isn't on a shared server.  But they should be considered.

I've done work with a guy who hosted his sites ad ihostasp.net - and we weren't thrilled. Speed was kinda slow... I never had to use them for support - he always did.. but I think he ended up moving to PowerDNN to.

We use GoDaddy for our production site.  Our account uses .Net 3.5 / IIS 7.0.

We are running the latest version of DNN.

Thanks, everyone, for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it.  I'm relieved to say that my client had no objections to moving off GoDaddy (and had only paid for 3 months of the cheapest possible package), so after some shopping we've decided to move the site to 3Essentials.com.  When the sales rep (not even the tech rep) gives me performance tuning tips for DNN, i figure I'm in the right place.

hedera,

were you able to host your DNN with their Essentials plan or did you have to go with their Business plan?

thanks
