When I try this, I get this error and the menu switched to the default:

Type ‘System.Web.UI.UserControl’ does not have a public property named ‘CustomAttrubutes’

Hi Mark, Thanks for your response--it's just misspelled in the forum (it was late and I was tired).

I've copied and pasted the example code from this very thread into my .ascx (to avoid typos!) and get the same error every time.

It looks to me like maybe the wrong version of dotnet on my server? A reference missing?

I'd really like DNNNav to render an unordered list! It would be so much easier to style.

I'm going to try DNNMenu today.

I'm on DNN 5.x.

BTW: I gave up on DNNNav. (It renders with TABLES!) I'm using DRRMenu now. It works great!
