 Hi...

I'm desperate for help!

I'm a newbie to DNN.

We have a full DNN site running, but I was asked to build a page that uploads an article into DNN which was meant to be hosted separately, now it needs to be hosted within the DNN site due to security reasons, however, when I upload the file's(which is set up as a virtual directory), i start to get all sorts of DNN errors.

Anybody know how this should be done?  is there an easy way to achieve this?

Thanks!

Can you post the errors or screens of the errors to give a better idea of what is happening?

 Hi!

Ok first it was looking for the files include in the <codeSubDirectories> of the main site, so i copied the appCode folder into my folder, afterwhich it was looking for the DNN dll's, which i then moved into my bin folder.  It then looked for the DotNetNuke.config file, which i copied over, and lastly asked for the Portals\_default\Cache folder, which i copied over.

Now i'm getting the following error:

"Object not set to an instance of an object".

The Stack trace:

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.] DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.RewriteUrl(HttpApplication app) +347 DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +1018 System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +68 System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +75

So i have no idea where to from here!
