See from Coding Staff's announcement:

www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/-1/threadid/333356/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Questions for the project team:

1) Are you aware of this release; if so, what are your concerns/thoughts/risks about this new module in terms of the existing forms and List Module?

2) Does this mean the Project Team will abandon the CSV import feature (very very much needed; it seems like forever we've discussed this upgrade, it's on the roadmap, etc)?

3) Is there an opportunity to work with Coding Staff to turbocharge the CSV import feature for form and List?

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

FnL team is going to co-operate with Coding Staff to integrate CSV import into future regular releases, as stated here.

Accepted Answer

The donated code has been already added to the source, and the CSV feature will be part of FnL5.1

First, please accept my apologies.

Here's where I got confused.  CodingStaff announces their free stuff in the Announce It forum.

The Coding Staff solution was for the "old" UDT prior to the release of the new one (which for the casual reader, could be misunderstood).

After reading your posts and reading Coding Staff's follow up post (which wasn't there when I replied since it was probably being reviewed by the moderator even though the time stamp was an hour earlier than my post), I'm very pleased to see this feature coming to form and List 5.1.

This addition will greatly help us with uploading data for our clients.

Thank you.
