Hi,

I upgraded a site to 5.1.4 for no problems over the weekend and was very pleased with the results.  Unitl this morning, where I found the site down!  This almost looks like a Windows or IIS issue but since the site is a hosted site I have no way of checking.  I have tried restarting the service with no success.  Any ideas?

You're right... that assembly should be in the GAC when .NET 3.5 is installed on a computer.  Any possibility they moved you to another server and didn't tell you or went and uninstalled .NET 3.5?  Worst case you could find that assembly on your local machine and upload it to the BIN folder of your website so that way when it doesn't find it in the GAC it can find it in your BIN instead.

Definitely check with your host though, that assembly shouldn't be missing regardless.

I have a dedicated server not shared hosting.  I have no idea why I have to copy that file after every upgrade.
