I've talked to several people about this and some of them say DotNetNuke has been Bobby approved since version 2.  Read about Bobby on this page http://cast.org/products/index.html.  Other people have never given it a thought, some because Bobby approval is not enough in our agency.

I request that our accessibility experts look at DotNetNuke and some of the "Showcase Sites" to provide some comments on how well it seems to meet our requirements.  They are looking at the request now and I believe they will provide some feedback.

I will say that DotNetNuke seems to me to address some accessibility issues that most sites ignore so I'm hopeful.  Regardless, we do have the source code and if I can ever figure it out well enough to make changes I would tend to accept that challange and implement it.

On CMS Matrix it states that WAI compliance is 'Limited', but doesn't give any detail. http://www.cmsmatrix.org/matrix/cms-matrix?func=viewDetail&listingId=1084

Can someone in the DNN team provide more info on this?

I have been speaking with Cathal on the issue of WAI compliance and we will be going through some areas ourselves to present to the core team and hope to bring a firm statement on the details of DNN compliancy in this area, based on some solid testing.

Thanks for your interest. We don't have an exact answer at the moment, due to aspnet 1 & 2 being different in behaviour as well.

Thanks for your reply Nina and to everyone providing DNN. It looks like a great tool. We'll be testing it for our Intranet shortly. It would be good to get more info about WAI compliance as the company I work for is becoming much more focused on information management, and the assurance and legal compliance of that information.

Thanks again.
