Is it possible to configure a list to have a dropdown field, for the end user to filter results based on a category?

We have just installed this module to do some testing to see if it will work for an application we have and that was one of the first questions I was asked, so I'd be interested in this answer as well.

Thanks,

-- Jim

Stefan,

I think you're misunderstanding the question.  The OP was asking for a drop-down list of all of the unique values in a column that would apply a filter to the resulting recordset.

Thank you Mike.

Yes, it is possible, though requires XSL scripting.

The script will fill the drop down using Munchian grouping, together with a norml button. The list itself will afterwards be filtered against [form:idofthedropdown]
