Has anyone managed to use a shared SSL between portals in DNN? If so, how? Say I have  two domains example1.com and example2.com and I have a cert for example1.com, can it be used with example2.com. I can do this in IIS for none DNN sites where you create a virtual directory under example1.com and the folder of the virtual directory is the folder for the example2.com. The url would look like https://www.example1.com/example2 and the site which shows up is the site for example2.com because that where the virtual directory points to.

This set up is convenient for two reasons where the purpose is to have a secured connection (not identity verification)

1- lack of ip addresses as each cert needs its own address (if they all use the standard ssl port 443)

2- users do not want to pay for the extra fees for the cert an/or extra ip.
