I'll be giving a presentation next week at the Capital DotNetNuke User's Group on building a mobile web app for your DotNetNuke module.  I'm sure the presentation materials and source code will be posted on the site after the presentation.

This is very nice to know!

May I ask If your focus will only be iPhone? what about Blackberry? Blackberry is a lot more used in companies than iPhone...

In fact in Portugal blackberry just got in to the normal market too, so any person can get one and not just companies... still this could be a very powerful thing for Itranets in companies since blackberry is directly connect to the company network if you have a BES or even BIS contract ofc. It would be nice to see some app's for blackberry too :)

The session will be a deep dive into writing a web app for your DotNetNuke module using HTML5, Javascript and jQTouch. It will also use a WCF Service to securely expose your module's data and functionality to the mobile web app.  So, it will work on any mobile device that supports HTML5 (the web app uses local storage functionality to store user settings, and sessionStorage to handle a security token passed from the WCF service.)  I believe RIM will be releasing a WebKit based browser soon, so once they do, the techniques and source I will demo'ing should work fine on Blackberry's as well.
