 In my case this is an upgrade on a working DNN494 installation so therefore, validation and permissions should not be an issue. I'll wait and will see what happens with DNN520 ;)

usually, installation goes fine within 10-15 minutes, however, if some setting interferes, it is hard to figure it out without some experience.

Marc, there are a few changes in 5.2.0, however, if it still fails, we should investigate the reasons in your special case.

I would highly recommend Microsoft's Web Platform Installer. It now installs 5.1.4 and I have never had an easier installation

I tried installing a previous version of DNN.  Here is what I got on this one. And you can see the install time.  This all took about 4 minutes to install.

there seems to be a timeout after 4 minutes, I never experienced so far.
