Hi all,

This is very urgent, I am using IFrame module and opening a page in IFrame bu using external URL, that is  login page of some other website, but when I login through Mozilla it is working fine, but when I try to login in IE it is allowing me to login, and that url is working fine in IE when I open that url in IF in seprate browser without IFrame.

Please help me to find out that what could be the reason behind this as this is very urgent...

Thanks in Advance

I assume, this is caused by IE blocking cross-site scripting for security reasons.

What is the issue, though - is it not login you in? Is it not showing in IE? You only said it's not working in IE...

Your site's login uses an authentication cookie to keep track of logged in users. Due to IE security standards, by default third party cookies are not accepted - so, when you use that login directly in IE, it considers it primary cookie, but when inside the IFrame, it is treated as a 3rd party cookie.

On a user level, you can change security settings to accept 3rd party cookie, but if you are planning a wide adaptation of your site, this is not going to work - you can't tell general users to change security settings as it is rather impractical.

Perhaps, you can launch that site in a popup instead of IFrame?

Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news... :(
