Is there any way to have the "What's New" box on a page that is not the forum page?
I have a website that has people go to a main page, and I'd like to have some way to show if there are new posts on the forum on that page, so that they can know if they need to go to the forums or not.
I don't really care the method of having the "What's New" on some other page, as long as it doens't require the full forum to be on that page. If I can have just 1 forum showing on the main page and have the "What's new" showing, that will be fine.
Thanks.

Have you looked at the separate Forum What's New module Chris has made available? See the sticky thread in this forum for a link to it.
