Not sure if you are still having these errors but as I was looking at them more carefully I noted that the tab on which the gallery module has been placed is 'GalleryPage'. Being familiar with how human friendly URL rewriting which was enabled by default in DNN 5.2.0 is done, knowing that the Gallery module makes use of a .aspx page named GalleryPage.aspx, and recalling a few problems we had with human friendly URL's and gallery pop-ups I though that I would test placing the module on a tab named GalleryPage. It failed immediately with a redirect back to the site's home page each time navigation to the GalleryPage tab was attempted. Renaming the tab to something else restored the tab's and gallery module's function.

Thanks William,

I also get the error on a page called "Course Photos" so I don't think that's the issue.  When I google "_metadata.resources' because it is being used by another process."  --- there are quite a few DNN galleries that show up... and also a link to

Maybe I should change my cache duration from 0 to a long time?

This is going to be a very static album. I don't anticipate adding anything for a long time, if ever.

I think the error is due to album size and quickly clicking on the next page link before the gallery has a chance to load into cache.... There are 371 photos in the album.

Could you try to upgrade to DNN 5.2.1 about there is a known issue with chaing on the DNN 5.2.0 related to the core.  At time I am not sure if this solve your issue, but this should be a try to fix it.
