Further to your recent post regarding Form and List...

I believe it was "Stefan" who suggested it was impossible to do at this time.. that is to populate a DropDownList based on a database query.

Unfortunately, I received no answers myself to the posting i made about this.
How one can do a Database query using a dropdownlist or "lookup field type" -- I do not know.

It's too long since the last post but I thought that other people might still be interested in populating a dropdown with all the countries. My quick solution is to just increase the 'InputSettings' field to nvarchar(MAX) in the 'UserDefinedFields' table in the Database.

Then you just add the list of countries. Also make sure to restart the application from the host menu in order to reflect the changes in the db
