Hello!

I am still new to DNN and I was playing around with the DNN 5 forum module. The problem that I have encountered was that I do not want registered users to be able to create new threads, reply, etc. to forums but instead only users that have certain user role. How can I achieve this?

Thanks.

You need to make each forum use Posting Restrictions (Moderated or No Moderation, depending on your needs). Then, you need to set the roles in the grid for start thread and post reply permissions.

Hello Crispy,

Thanks. The reason why I was not able to see it first was that whenever I click on the "General Settings" tab, it won't go to the general settings then I accidentally press the option tab then it goes to the general settings(a minor bug).
