Hi,
I am trying to add the functionality to the search text box that will clear the text when a user clicks in the text box to type their criteria. I cannot find the correct file to add the code to. Can someone tell me the correct file, and recommended method, for adding this script action?

Thanks.

I would not edit in the skinobject that would not allow you to upgrde easily because it would be written over.

I would go for the javscript option in the skin, this is done by heart so you should double check and make sure your texbox has the same class

<script type="text/javascript">
     $(document).ready(function(){
       $(".SearchTextBox").focus(function(event){
$('this').val('');

       });
     });

   </script>
