Just upgraded from 4.5.5 to 5.2.1, and everything was a success except for five small items:

  • Installing Package File Feedback_3.1_Install:  Error!
  • Installing Package File HTML_3.1_Install:  Error!
  • Installing Package File Links_3.1_Install:  Error!
  • Installing Package File Survey_3.1_Install:  Error!
  • Installing Package File UserDefinedTable_3.1_Install:  Error!

The site works fine, including creating a new HTML module and Feedback module (haven't tried the others).

I've also noticed in my [root]/Install/Module directory that those modules are the only ones that still have a zip file associated with it.  All the other modules are labeled "[module name]_Install.resources"

Is everything ok?  Do I need to worry about these errors?  Anybody else run into this?

Can you check the actual installed versions of those modules? Are they showing a newer version?

I don't believe "UserDefinedTable" exists anymore but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply, Ken.  I don't think the installed versions have been upgraded, these are the version #s I'm showing (under Host -> Module Definitions):

Links: 3.3.7

Survey: 4.0.85

Feedback:  4.4.1

HTML, however is showing 5.2

For each of these (except HTML, but including UserDefinedTable) it is showing that an upgrade is available.

Except for the HTML module  and UserDefinedtable none of those modules shown in the error message got upgraded.

Do you have a local copy of the site that you can use to upgrade those modules, preferably one at a time, to see if they upgrade or error out?

I think if you tested locally you'd be in a much better position to determine which of the modules you can upgrade or may not want to upgrade
