Thanks amrish.

Step 1 .Create 2 Portals . both will be Parent Portals.

3.Make an entry in the Portal Alias Table for both the Domains.

--

What is the difference between these 2 steps?

--

2.Create the Virtual directories or websites in the IIS having the Domain name as of yours , Now both the Websites will point to the single Dnn Source Code.

--

Can you tell me what exactly you're writing in the 'Add Virtual Directory' dialog box:

Alias: domain1.com

Physical path: domain1.com/wwwroot/dotnetnuke

Alias: domain2.com

Physical path: domain2.com/wwwroot/dotnetnuke

Is that correct or you add Vistual Directory only for the second (domain2.com), thrid (domain3.com) etc. not the first (DNN installation domain1.com)?

Hi Dimitar

You have ur source code at /inetpub/wwwroot,and have 2 domains like domain1.com and domain2.com

so create 2 virtual directories in the IIS having name domain1.com and domain2.com and both points to the same source code present at inetpub/wwwroot

now check for the portal alias it should have both the entries like domain1.com and domain2.com

In my case i have used single dnn source code for all my 3 Portals.

A second portal I understand a second installation of DNN!?

No.  A second portal is just that, a second portal in the same DNN installation.  DNN can have multiple portals, either parent or child, in a single installation and database.
