I've set up LiveID and after setting the correct return URL (to the login page) logging in basically works (except for the issue with verified user registration).

However, logging out doesn't quite seem to work. When I have "Sign-off of Windows Live" checked, I get a message that Windows Live wasn't able to sign me out of my site. I can try again but it just doesn't work. When I click on "Done", I'm still signed in at my site. When I then try signing off without that checkbox checked, I get to the home page - but I'm still logged in. After another try, I *am* logged out - but when I click "login", I'm immediately signed in with my LiveID.

I guess this won't be a "serious" problem for most "real" users - but for my testing purposes, it's very unpleasant. And, I also don't think that users will appreciate the message that they can't be logged out of the page. Is this a misconfiguration issue on my side - or a bug?

Replying to myself ;-) ... it seems like this is working much better when using https for the login-page ...
