JD try this:

Inside your web.config you should edit the following line which will help when using port numbers:

<friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">
<providers>
<clear />
<add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="humanfriendly" />
</providers>
</friendlyUrl>

to use "searchfriendly" as follows:

<friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">
<providers>
<clear />
<add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="searchfriendly" />
</providers>
</friendlyUrl>

Hi John.

I had the same prob in the past. I definitely made all settings right (IIS, web-Config, http-alias...) and exactly the same behaviour.

I couldn't find the thread by now, but i can remember, that it just does not work. At least i never found a solution.

Cheers

Kai
