Is there anyway to have the Documents module write the ‘full path’ to the document rather than the ‘linkclick.asp code’?

I would like the ‘full path’ automatically inserted when adding documents using the File (A File On Your Site) option, rather than manually having to enter the path using the URL (A Link To An External Resource) option.
What source code needs to be changed to achieve this in DNN v5.1.4?

Many thanks.
