Hello Timo.

I read your posts and looked at the html and ascx file for the MinimalEntropy skin.  The commonality that I saw between them was the general omission of id attributes.  So I removed all of the id attributes and all of the runat="server" attributes, and started to build my skin one div at a time.  Now it works.

This first page that I am working on will be for the home page.  I need to add jQuery javascript to support animations for the image rotator that I wrote.  One article that I saw mentions just putting the javascript into an html module.  Is that the right way?

Please let me know if I should start a separate thread.

Add JS to the page header works, but it's not a very secure way of doing this IMO.

If you delete the page the script would be gone too and you would have to add it again.

I would add the jQuery script to the skin or even create a seperate skin for the home page.

When you say "jQuery javascript" do you mean jQuery itself or your own, custom, js that uses jQuery?

I've used Gumbosoft's Script Injector ($35 from SnowCovered, $33 from Gumbosoft directly) for quite some time and really love it.  I can include linked JS, embed my one or two line scripts or even CSS right on the page.

Hi Timo.

I will try adding the js to the skin.  I plan to create a different skin for the home page and the content pages.

Thanks.

Just my script.  I see that DNN already has jquery-1.3.2 and jquery-ui-1.7.2 installed in the js folder.
