h y, can you tell me what DLL you have in the BIN directory of your website?

Are there any other references to older telerik versions in your web.config besides what I had posted in the web.config file?

Thanks a lot, you sent me the right direction. 've Telerik.dll version 2010.1.309.35 put in the bin, web.config adjusted and everything works again. Thanks again for the quick response. Regards, Ray

I had the same issues with this update path plus a couple more (upgrading DotNetnuke from 5.3 to 5.4).  I resolved them the following way:

1. Reconfirmed directory permissions

2. Corrected the DotNetNuke\App_Code\XML\Handlers\download.vb file in

Replaced line 34 with

Private Sub RenderToResponseStream(ByVal Response As System.Web.HttpResponse, ByVal controller As XmlController)

Replaced line 89 with

Private Sub handleAuthenticateRequest(ByVal context As System.Web.HttpContext)

3. Replaced the DotNetNuke\bin\Telerik.Web.UI.dll file with the one from the FULL INSTALL

3. Updated web.config line

<bindingRedirect oldVersion="2008.0.0.0-2020.0.0.0" newVersion="2010.01.309.35" />

with

<bindingRedirect oldVersion="2007.1.1.20-2011.4.2000.20" newVersion="2010.1.309.35" />

It seems to work properly now

I have checked that my web.config matches what is in this post as far as the dependent assembly section is concerned.  However, I am still getting the following error message:

Compiler Error Message: BC30007: Reference required to assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI, Version=2010.1.309.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4' containing the base class 'Telerik.Web.UI.RadWindowManager'. Add one to your project.

I have removed the Telerik.Web.UI.dll from the bin and added it to the GAC.  Is this no longer possible with DNN version 5.4.1?  Thanks
