Hello, I am running DNN 05.01.04. When I create a new security role, and grant that role permission to view and edit a page, users in that role can access the HtmlEditor, but when they click on the image button, they cannot see any of the image folders in /Portals/0/ except the "Cache" folder. If I log in as Host, I can see everything. I have granted this role full permission to the folders in File Manager as well, but no luck. I am new to DNN 5, but experienced with later versions of DNN 4. Is there something I'm missing? I appreciate anyone's advice! Thanks!

Which Html editor are you using, it sounds like you have the dnn file manager folder permissions set (they need view, possibly edit for uploading).

Hi and thanks for you reply...

Using the built-in FckEditor. Just realized today that even the default Admin account cannot see the image folders. Only the Host user can see them. Could this be a permissions issue on the web server file system? Thanks.

SOLVED! My image folders, along with my entire DNN installation, has been copies from our development server to our production server. The image folders did not appear in the DNN "dbo.Folders" table, nor did they have permissions assigned to them. I created new image folders from within the FckEditor Image Properties > Browse Server dialog box, then copied my images from the old folders to the new ones. Then, all my users were able to see my images.
