Hi,

The Store module version 02.01.33 RC Stable is available at Codeplex!

What's New in this release?

Bugs corrected:

- Fixed a bug related to ecryption cookie.

Enhancements:

- Adden token pair [IFLOGGED] [/IFLOGGED] usable inside each template. This token pair allow to display a part of the template only if the current user is logged.

- Adden token pair [IFNOTLOGGED] [/IFNOTLOGGED] usable inside each template. This token pair allow to display a part of the template only if the current user is not logged.

- Some caching and process methods have been added to the template provider to retrieve and parse templates more quickly.

This release will be submited shortly to the release tracker  for official release.

All gateway providers has been reviewed for a better workflow at checkout. Moreover, the module is now XHTML compliant. Because I have rewrited all style sheets and template files, MAKE A BACKUP of your files BEFORE upgrade!!!

If you use the Store module with an other language than en-US, you have to create a localized version of graphics buttons. Please download and read the Templating Guide for more information.

For details about changes, look at the file History.txt inside the package.

A draft of the new Installation Guide is available. Please read it to install or upgrade the Store module.

At last, a dratf of the new Templating Guide rev 1.0.7 is available for web designers! Translators and administrators should read it too! ;-)

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I installed the 2.01.33 in the latest version of DNN today and the cart and mini-cart are giving errors. The errors are permission errors and I uninstalled the existing code and then reinstalled. I am getting permissions issues on the cart modules. I uninstalled and re-installed version 2.01.30 and that version did not give errors in the cart and mini-cart but no matter how many products I added the catalog page always said there were no products in the category. The other issue was that you cannot click in the rich text editor to add a description of the product and you have to go to the plain text to put in a description. I am trying to get to a stable version that works with PayPal.

I have tested all versions of the module in DNN 5.04 and they get permissions issues in the cart and account modules beginning with 02.01.30. The 2.01.29 version does not work with PayPal. I saw that your notes said you were testing in DNN 4 versions and assuming they worked in the 5 versions. Can you test them in the DNN 5 versions, please? I really like the new features that have been added but I still need them to work with DNN 5.04 for my clients.

Hi Teri,

The Store module 02.01.33 works with DotNetNuke 05.04.00! If your DNN instance is hosted in a shared environment, it run probably in Medim Trust. In this case, YOU CAN'T use the "Secure Cookie" setting in the Store Admin module. Please verify than this setting IS UNCHECKED and than ALL your cookies are cleared.

Moreover, did you follow my advices from the Install Guide specifying than the Store Account module and the Store Admin module MUST be placed on separate pages? Is your settings "Store Page" and "Store Account Page" are pointed to the corresponding pages?

The Store Catalog module display the message "There is no product in this category." when the setting "Use Default Category" is checked AND the "Default Category" dropdown list point to an empty category.

The isssue about the rich text editor is not related to the Store module. It woks perfectly with a fresh DNN 05.04 install (using the new Telerik Editor).

Hi Teri,

The Store module 02.01.33 has been tested with DNN 05.04.00 before release and works like a charm.
