This one concerns a ReturnURL.

DotNetNuke version: 4.9.1

I have a file that is in a directory that is viewable only by Registered users.  If you click the link to the file, you are redirected to the login page and asked to login first (there's an http handler that does this).  Below is the URL that takes you to the login page.

http://www.mysite.com/SubscriberLogin...

After logging in, the redirection is to his URL:

http://www.mysite.com/LinkClick.aspx?...

Note that some of the encoding in the URL is lost.  This URL fails with this message:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Input string was not in a correct format.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Stack Trace:

[FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.]
System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) +7469351
System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) +119 System.Int32.Parse(String s) +23

System.Web.CallHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +181
System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +75

But, if I manually use

http://www.mysite.com/LinkClick.aspx%3ffileticket%3dQ%252bt...

all is well.

I believe that this was working in the past, and no upgrades have been made.

Any thoughts on this?

Addendum:  It would seem as the problem is related to the "+" that appears in the FileTicket.  Another file, done in the same way works fine and doesn't have the plus sign.

But ... I still don't know what to do about it ...

The domain name is a dummy.  Unfortunately, it's a private site, and I can't give you access.
