I am running 5.04.02.  I moved a page from a top level menu item to a child and the page no longer shows up at all in the page management list in the admin menu.  No module recognizes the page as existing any longer.  It is not in the recycle bin.  If i try to create a new page with the same name, i get an error that the page already exists.  Is there any way to find this page?  Any way to delete it and start over?  Any way to do anything?

AFAIR there used to be an issue in DNN 5.4.1, which does seem to be still existing. Check support.dotnetnuke.com, whether it is on the roadmap for a future version.

Cheers from Germany,

Thank you for responding.  This issue is documented many times over in Gemini. Peter Smith's comments in the the following link does the best  job of describing the issue: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V....  I would have to agree with the consensus..that this is a show stopper.  This problem brought down my entire site and completey corrupted the database.  I didn't see any documentation relating to where this would be addressed in a future releases.  In my opinion this bug/s renders the admin page function completely unsuable.

Steve,
this issue does not appear to have been scheduled yet, from what I can see on Gemini.
I voted for it on Gemini (must register before you can vote), and would suggest everyone having this problem to do the same - hoping votes are considered, of course ;)

Don't know of any other module to be used to manage pages, do you?

Hello Alberto,

Unfortuately I do not know of any other module for page management.  Have you figured out a way to make the database right?  Either through sql scripts or direct database edits?  At a very minimum, I would hope that the powers to be at DNN could provide some insight on how to rectify this problem.  Its rendered a 4 month site development virtually useless until this issue can be correct in the database
