Hi,

I'm trying to customise the solpart menu by adding a padding and a border between tabs on a Main horizontal menu. The problem that I encounter is that the padding also affects the sub-menu so I get a jump when selecting a tab. And for the borders between tabs I have not been able to achieve this on the main menu. However it's effective on the submenu where I don't need it nor want it.

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions how to get over this.

Leif

I think you might have to start working in the Active Class menu area - where the top level menu has classes somewhat independent of the sub menu.

Without the Active classes in play, the top and sub menus interact closely. It can be frustrating at times, the active classes give you that little bit more flexibility.

Thanks for your reply Nina,

Active Class menu area ? Pardon my ignorance but I'm not sure what you mean by that.

May be time for me to do some homework on this.

Thanks again

Leif

I've pasted some code in a thread just down from this one that has a menu using the active classes - have a look at that and add to your homework "cheat sheet"

Not my day today, been through the last pages (100 threads or so) but still unable to locate the post containing the code mentioned above.

Sorry about that but losing my mind

Thanks

Leif
