Sorry - try this post with a set of active classes - it shows what you need in your ascx file and what you need in the CSS file.

I meant to post but I had someone here and hate dropping conversation when people are expecting replies.

If you have issues with the SolPart menu, I have an XML Menu skin object that you can use. It works by specifying an XSL file to transform the XML. This won't give you dynamic menus, unfortunately, but you can use it for almost any kind of menu. I've used it on several skins and it's worked well so far. At some point, I'd like to get it working with other dynamic menus. To set it up with dynamic menus now would just be a lot of work on the XSL file.

Thanks for the offer Michael but I managed to get to where I wanted (well almost) with Nina's code. Just need to add a border to the main menu items now.

Thanks

Leif
