Hi guys,

I've a question. I've put a mediaplayer which plays a radio station. It plays well. The problem I have is when I click on other page (postback) the radio stops until the next page displays again. So everytime it starts again. I know this kind of things I can solve it by updatepanel. I use the default skin of DNN (toppane,left,middle,right, bottom)... So I think I should not put in a pane. I've put in the skin as Iframe refering to a page.
But how can I make sure when I navigate from page to page or in otherwords every postback should not stop the radio and start again moving to page..

I've put in my skin (index.ascx)

<div>
 <iframe src="http://www.abc.com/radio/default.asp" height="30px" width="900px" />
</div>

any idea?

thanks

mesut

afaik the only chance is a frame page holding the music player

You could maybe open the media player in a new browser window - this would survive a postback.

Take a look at http://www.audiablevert.net

We have created a DNN skin that frames the DNN website and adds a music player at the bottom. We are using javascript and url anchors (#) for bookmarks to work well and some other script to ensure that the music player is there if you access a direct link (such as links indexed by search engines).

Let me know if you are interested in source code.
