Okay, here is the official QA Team response.

1) As stated before, you are doing it right and it can take time to do it.

2 & 3) That is how Gemini works and we do not have much control over it.

4) This is this way because we want to track if issues are withdrawn and then in the status why they were withdrawn,  I will see if we can configure Gemini to see other statuses as closed.  If we can do that I have not problem with that, but I think you can only have 1 status be = Closed.

5) Sorry, no control over this.

6) Should be able change status to reopened.  If regular users do not have access to do this they can post a thread here to get it reopened.  You can also email me shawn.mehaffie@dotnetnuke.com.

7) We try to fix as many issues as possible, but we also have to prioritize which ones to fix first.  We start with Showstoppers, then move to Major, Minor and Trivial.  At the same time we have to keep adding features that the community wants added.  It is a balancing act and there is not easy answer.  If you look at the last few major major releases there are quite a few majore features added and usually 100's of issues fixed. Although the process is not perfect, I think we do a pretty good job of eliminating all known Showstoppers and Major issues so that each DNN release if pretty stable.

We are working on updating Gemini to the latest version and hopefully some of the new features and bug fixes will really help with some of thes issues.  Also, the new QA team members will be starting to clean up the Public Gemini project in the near future (working on processes for them to use at this moment).

S. Shawn Mehaffie
QA Team Leader.
