I have a dropdown using JS that works fine in an HTML page. However, when I try to put the JS, CSS, and html into my skin, the dropdown does not work. You can download my files here. Can anyone help me out with this?

Hi,

Just a couple of observations from your files; .ascx skins shouldn't contain <body> tags - everything in a skin ends up in the body of the resulting HTML document, and put all the CSS into skin.css which DNN will automatically load for you.

Joe Brinkman is half way through a really thorough series of blog posts about DNN skinning - might be worth having a read through.

Good luck,
Rhys.

I didn't build this skin. All I was trying to do was add a dropdown menu with JS. It works fine in a straight html page, but when I put it in the skin file, it doesn't. Is there something I need to do with the JS to make it work properly in the ascx file?
