Hi
   I am new to DotNetNuke.
I have an application which is not solving that is
When I click on a image that image should be larger as a popup window. for that i need to write javascript. But I don't know where the script should be written. I place an image by using html module , when i am writing script it is not taking.

Adding a script into a content is filtered due security.  You could not allow adding scripts to a content, this opens your website to attake your site and server!  If You need a function that saves images and opening it on a popup you need a other module which is not included in DNN.  You can search about a usefull module on Marktplace, or google about it or you need a custom module.  There are serveral ventors that provided custom module creation.

Matthias is right, scripts are filtered out of the HTML module.  However, administrators are not filtered.  That is, if you need to include JavaScript, you need to go through your administrator.  As a page editor, you should also be able to add JavaScript to the head of the page via the Page Header Scripts setting on the page.

Hope that helps,

as an alternative you could use a module such as http://www.willstrohl.com/Blog/EntryId/600/Lightbox-Gallery-Module-Version-01-03-00-Released which gives the lightbox effect you want on images
