What version of the blog module was the first to use SQL  2005/8?
My host only supports SQL 2000 so I have to install a legacy version.

TIA
J

please note, your major issue here is that since 5.2.0 (AFAIR)

there seems t be part of Cathal's answer missing. If you are using SQL Server 2000, you may use any version prior to 5.2.0, latest is 5.1.3 AFAIR, most stable would be 4.9.5. You may also consider using SQL Server 2008 R2 Express version, which should be sufficient for most of the small and medium sized web sites.

John, Who are you hosting with? I cannot imagine any decent host forcing its users to stay on such old technology. I suggest you get on SQL 2008 if you are going to be using the DNN 5.x line.
