SO, i get my DNN setup great, this is a wonderful app but my question is this.

My objective is thus: I want to create a secondary portal, as kind of a development side, a second portal that shares the same settings as the initial portal, but which is restricted by its own user list. so that i can have a public portal, and a dev portal allowable to only users that i allow. now my problem is this.

Do i just create a virtual directory pointing to the second portal in IIS. so lets say itd be localhost/dnn/portals/2 (where 2 is the second portal). OR, do i create a virtual directory, pointing to localhost/dnn/ with a different alias, lets say Portal2

so that people go to domain/portal2

any help greatly appreciated

thanks
