I already heard about ASP.Net 4 installs sometimes behaving strange, but haven't tested it myself. In any case, you should restart installation from scratch, maybe this time using .net 3.5 SP1

Try clear the browser cach. Maybe an old cookie make this happen.
I asume you log in with the host account :)

I believe its the best way...

First I will try to set the application pool to NET framework 3.5

.........................(doing it now with a iisreset)

And the website is giving an error....

Tomorrow (no time to sleep!) I will installed everything again....and will let know what happens

This is not problem

Tried even several browsers for sure  (IE8, Firefox and Chrome)  everywhere the same...

OK, I have a few sites running net 4, but none of them was installed as net 4 so maybe there is an issue as Sebastian indicate with new installs.
Maybe never tested before who knows.
