You are not able to edit, does this mean the edit icons are not visible, while they are visible for the other extensions?

are you accessing the site remotely or from a browser on the web server machine itself?

Thank you both for your reply.

Yes I get the edit pencil, but once I am on the next page, I can't actually edit the extension like I have seen on videos and examples.

And I am accessing via web browser and through my site via the Host > Extensions link in the navigation.  

I thought at first it might have been a browser issue, but I have tried it in Firefox, IE 8 and Chrome.
