Hiya Seb,
initially I just added language EIRE..to DNN
I didn't install..

When I check the EIRE Language settings I noticed that it says Missing resource files:488..

Is this my problem.. I need to install Language EIRE and its resource files?
Although I don't fully speak Irish so it would be the UK language I need to install rather than add ?

Ray..

Ray, please use the edit pencil besides the language name to enter language detail and you should be able to see fallback language for each language installed. this should be set to none for the system default and "English (US)" for your other language.

Hiya Seb, I finally got it sorted...

I had to install a UK language pack..Then set UK as default and disabled US..

When I was trying to use other languages I just intially "Added" Eire and UK.
But I didn't know you also had to install the language package for each country your trying to use.
The language pack contains translated versions of the admin pages that I was missing !!
Thx for your help..

strange, with proper fallback language set, the original texts should be used for any missing langauge resource.

Hiya Seb, strange I agree but I think I know whats happening..

If I add UK as a language but Don't install UK language Pack,
Then check fallback language, Both Language AND Fallback Language are set to UK !!
If I install UK Language Pack then check fallback, Language is set to UK and Fallback is set to US !!!!

Can you confirm ?
Is this a bug ? or should users just know that if they add a language they need to install a language pack ?
