Hi All,

I am trying to install DotNetNuke . Everything was working  fine until I got this error.
I have created database in Management studio . I have also added dotnetnuke site to IIS.
In SQL Management Studio , I login using WindowAuthentication and user name as "pankaj-PC/pankaj and no password.

Connection Error(s):

Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18456
Message: Sql login failed

I would be thankful if some one could guide me through this.

Thanks
Pankaj Trivedi

please post the connection string you are using in your web.config (w/o username and password values). Which account is configured for your IIS app pool identity?

Thanks for reply.

Connection String in my web.config

<connectionStrings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008 Express -->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    -->
  </connectionStrings>

For the IIS app pool identity account , I could not figure out where to look for.

I am stuck on this point from last two days. Any help would be highly appreciated.
