Jan, it may be easier to hire C# devs than VB devs, but I would suggest it would be best to advertise for experience in either language - as has been stated many times, if you know one then it only takes a few weeks working with the other syntax to make it seem pretty natural.

Mark, I dont belive in that it just take a few weeks to reach the same productivity level when changing languge. 
I think the timeframe are months and in some case years.
Thats my experience of programmers.

Maybe so, but here we're only talking about developers worthy of working for DNN Corp :)

Jan, your point might be valid if we were talking about switching between VB.Net and PHP or Java, but the only significant difference between VB.Net and C# is syntax and semantics. Anyone that can't handle switching between the two in a few weeks might want to start looking for a different job. I prefer VB.net. I find the syntax of C# to be unnecessarily complex and less readable. But I switch easily between the two.
