I reinstalled the HTML module which half helped.
I can't see the text when editing.
The "Rich textbox" isn't working.
But I can see the text in the "Plain textbox".

Was the install successful?
If so - please clear your browser cache.

If that does not work check web.config has the correct telerik entries. You should be able to look at the DNN 5.6.0 install package's web.config file and compare with your current web.config file, you are looking for any lines with "Telerik" in them. I suggest you back up your web.config file before making any changes.

Fingers crossed.

No difference with the cleared cache.

Hmm, no difference in the web.config files. Well, there where a few small differences but nothing in the Telerik sections.

If I save the SiteSqlServer string would I be able to copy the whole web.config from the installation?

Ok, I tried to copy the web.config and it didn't do the trick.

I just realized that if I want to add something new it isn't possible to use the "Rich textbox". If I click in it the marker doesn't show and it isn't possible to write anything.

Not a good idea I would suggest Fredrik, your web.config will have made a lot of valid adjustments since install.

You can use a utility such as BeyondCompare to just compare both web.config files and just compare the Telerik sections:
http://www.scootersoftware.com

If you still have an issue at least you will have ruled this out this problem.

The next thing to check is the \bin folder, see if Telerik.Web.UI.dll exists, download/copy it to your desktop, right click the file -> Properties, click Details tab. The file version should be 2010.02.929.35 if you are using DNN 5.6.0.
Then go to \bin\providers - if you see a similar file, back it up and delete it.

Check Host -> Extensions, filter by "Provider",the Telerik Editor Provider should show version 5.6.0

Another thing to try if you have a custom skin on your page, is to create a brand new page with a html module, and use the standard skins/containers as supplied with DNN 5.6.0 (MinimalExtrophy).

Also are you still getting any errors in Admin -> Event Viewer?

That's all I can think of right now :).
