Yes, I am just testing. I only have DNN 5.6 in production, however, I still have the site URL (without specifying a page) generating the error page and I have to use the "Return to Site" option. I would like to get that resolved soon.

I also noticed that my site .ico file is also being added to the PortalAliases.

Previously, I had to add file suffixes to the Host Settings > Advanced Settings > Other Settings > Allowable File Extensions in the order to allow them to be uploaded. Could this list be also used to specify the list of suffixes to handle in the UrlRewriteModule.vb?

I am running into numerous issues with the URL rewriting.  Passing parameters through the main URL is failing.  For example, using the automated verification link http://www.djdatalinc.com/Portals/0//...  fails,

but http://www.djdatalinc.com/Default.asp...  works.

How can I get the rewriting rules to work for this scenario? This used to work in DNN 5.5.1.

I had to setup an ISAPI filter in IIS 6 to support the Pivot entries by directing all requests to ASP.NET.  Is this my problem?  Any recommendations on how to resolve?

 Wayne;
Can you please log a Gemini bug about the URL rewriting and link it to DNN-14447.
Please state which parameters fail for you.. all, some, very specific type?
It is the New Years holiday in North America today but we'll take this up when we reboot for 2011.
It is doubtful that this will be fixed for 5.6.1 as we are in the final week before release.

Dec 15 It appears that all the issues in this thread have been resolved in 5.6.1. Hopefully that will be released soon.

Jan 3  It is doubtful that this will be fixed for 5.6.1 as we are in the final week before release.

Jan 4? Create new Gemini bug

Not so obvious is the solution or the problem. Should this not be resolved by 5.6.1?
