Hi All,

I am trying to use the document module on my DNN page such that any registered user could go to this page and upload his/her document. However when the registered user is trying to upload a document I am getting the following error.

An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Save The File D:\Hosting\4169986\html\Portals\0\Mathematics\Navya Assignment.doc. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server.

To make sure it is not a problem with roles, I have created a category called Uploaders in the roles section. Also made sure that I have added test01 ( user name ) to the Uploaders category. After that changed the module settings of the document module for Uploaders to Edit the module. Also in file manager where if everything goes right, these files are to be added to the mathematics folder. Now I have also made sure that the Uploaders category can write to and read from this mathematics folder. I am still getting these errors. Please help. I am growing impatient.

This is due to ASP.NET not being able to write the files to the disk, ensure that the ASP.NET process has access to read/write files to the system.

please check the filesystem permssions granted to the Windows account used by ASP.Net (as configured in the IIS App Pool used by your site).
