I am running version 5.6 of DNN and it seems that somewhere along the way the site's title, description and keywords have disappeared from the Admin -> Site Settings page. I think it may have happened when I added a new portal alias and removed the old one after moving the site. I can see the PortalName and Description in the PortalLocalization table in the database. The site appears to be working correctly otherwise. I just cannot view or update the site's information form Site Setting page.

I also cannot edit each page's description or keywords.

do you have multiple languages installed? There are a couple of site settings, which are language specific, even though this fact is carefully hidden from the user ;)

I have modified the resource file for the Events module in Admin->Languages in order to set my own custom labels. Could that be what caused this issue?
