AAAhh.. now we hear a bit more - you were like most of us here when we begin - know enough to be *armed and dangerous*  - I'm glad you posted that here since as you can imagine, so many people with so many background and interpretations, so we sort of try to keep thing generic...   But now you know - if you break it just replace the skin with the existing one and it will be all ok again and at least let you get into the site.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to stop and rebuild, skins, sites, content, containers, code... it's just an ongoing process fo learning, but fortunately I'm able to pick up the errors a little more quickly so don't feel as bad as I used to when I broke sites.
