Anyone having this problem..

When I edit the text for emails in the language editor and save it, the html formatting tags show up in the text. So when the user gets a new registration email all of the html tags show up.

I tested this thinking that my mail client was configured for text only but this isn't the case.

Thoughts

Thanks

Hi Leupold

Thanks for the quick response. Yes the email server is configured for html. first thing I checked. Everything was working fine and the emails where ok until I went into the language editor and changed the text. In the preview box (before you edit) there were was no html before I went in. After I made the changes and saved, the changes were there???

Is there any way to manually format these in the interim as I have users registering..

thanks

do check the resource files directly with a text editor.

Will check them but here is the email header and as you can see the email is being sent as text

My hosting provider sent this to me as I had asked them to check the mail server to confirm that it can handle html.
